DGCHVR - The Last Time I Spend Money on Personalized Plate - Maybe =P

There is one time in my life, I really splurged on something that I thought was so unique. It ended up costing me over 300 dollars and some grief.

Everybody or anybody that knows me, knows I love dogs. And I loved my dog Manny “The bubbiest of Bubbas of All Bubbaville that Have ever bubbied” so I called him. 

I had a Honda Ridgeline, and I was bored one night, and the plates needed to be updated. I pondered and I pondered

I was attempting to try to find something that was unique on my plate it would dedicate my love of Dog 

and how much I loved my Manny in general. 

I know of course I had the rescue first plates that OHIO had out, but I wanted too more than just that. Something that was going to really show all that I am not only funny, but I am a rescue dog owners.

So, around 230am or 300am ( Always a great time to be making any kind of purchases, right about the same time is here right now lol ) Anywhoo right before my plates were due, I was thinking what could really make the statement.

I attempted all kinds of different License plates in my head, and I thought how could this really you know, be so incredibly clever, that it would get people talking. I guess because I grew up the brother to 3 older sisters that I was still looking for my attention. Or it could be the ADHD that was yet to be diagnosed.

But I digress. So, with all that wondering and time pondering on what could do it, I came up with DGCHVR. Mind you this was late at night, and it was when right after I sent it. I think it was 95 or something like that, I realized what I wanted to say was DGCHFR. But it gets better, because at that time, as now, I am not all about numbers, and budget and what is and what is not in my bank account.

Actually not too recently I was doing the budget thing and

it was so dam depressing. I really hated knowing where all the money went or should say wasted on lol.

I am sure many of you feel the same =)

Little did I know, that DGCHVR is going to cost about 3 times the price of the original price. Great ideas 

of mine are something of an irony because after I think about what I did, and I am like, 

“WHY KEVIN,

WHY?!”

 But being hindsight what it is or is not, that license plate came in the mail. There it was

DGCHVR when I wanted DGCHFR like a dog Chauffeur, not a dog Shaver.  

This one time, I truly felt so embarrassed I remember someone saying 

“What does your license plate mean?” 

I was like it should have said and should have really been that, but it was what it was. Wait I 

forgot to tell you about me having not exactly balanced my books, like ever, so that bounced, and 

overdraft fees were gone with and I in my great mindset was not going to get paid for two weeks.

So DGCHVR cost me around 300 dollars. Still to this day, that stings, anytime I think about getting a

personalized plate, I am like “Hey Kevin, remember when you had to make a statement that was exactly

the thing you did not really want?” Then I say, yep, I remember, but I am so kind of dying to get a plate

for my MIATA, or as I fondly call SCAB.

*But that is if I can ever see how much transmission fluid is in it. 

*That is if I can ever figure a way to get underneath it being it is too low for my mechanic to put on the lift. 

Not to forget to mention THAT IS if I did not completely burn the clutch as well. But, who knows, SCAB 

maybe in front of you and even I put it on the highway. If you see me, just wave, my horn does not work so 

I can’t acknowledge back. 

Wait, what was I saying???????? Lol
